HOW TO CREATE A NEW COMPANY IN PEACH TREE ACCOUNTING
Creating a new company means creating your company accounting data using the Peach tree software
From
the Peachtree Startup window,
SELECT CREATE A NEW COMPANY;
CREATE A NEW COMPANY –INTRODUCTION WINDOW
OPENS;
CLICK NEXT;
COMPANY INFORMATION WINDOW OPENS;
{Enter the Company Name, Address, Phone and Fax information,
from the list in the BUSINESS TYPE, choose your business type, enter your email and web-site addresses};
CLICK NEXT;
Select a method to create your company
{choose the default method};
CLICK NEXT
Select a business type: {scroll and choose a
business type that suits your business}
Click NEXT
Choose Account method {select the default one
chosen that is Accrual}
CLICK NEXT
Choose a posting method {choose real time,
this enables your transactions to be processed accounts-wise as soon as posting
is done}
CLICK NEXT
Choose an accounting period structure {choose
default structure of 12 monthly accounting periods per year}
CLICK NEXT
Choose the first period of your fiscal
year{choose January and also the year of the accounting period, but note some
companies have accounting period beginning from month other than January, just
choose the appropriate month as the case may be}
CLICK NEXT
CLICK Finish {as you click the Finish button, the
Peach tree will create your New Company}
